Herman Paul Stelly Rayne - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Friday, December 23, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. for Herman Paul Stelly, 69, who died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at his daughters home in Maurice, LA. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Mausoleum, Rayne, LA. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Rose Marie Robichaux Stelly of Rayne, three daughters, Tina & husband Donnie Veazey of Maurice, Lisa and husband Jamie Comeaux of Youngsville, Tammy Stelly of Rayne and son Johnny Stelly of Youngsville,two stepdaughters, Cheryl Richard and husband Miles Boudreaux of Rayne, Janet and husband Keith Cormier of Mire, fourteen grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren,one stepgranddaughter, brothers Wilbert Stelly and wife Mary Lou, Horris Stelly and wife Gloria, sister Della Alleman and husband Merlin, sister-in-law Celida Stelly and brother-in-law Hubert Robichaux and wife Cathy. He was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Stelly, one daughter, Ann Stelly, parents, John Stelly and Annie Venable Stelly, one brother, Gilford Stelly. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, he retired from Halliburton Services as an Asset Coordinator after being employed 30 years, then worked at Gossen Funeral Home and TK Stanley until his death. He was born Monday, September 7, 1942 in Rayne, LA, Son of the late John Stelly and the late Annie Venable Stelly. Pallbearers will be his son, Johnny Stelly, son in laws Miles Boudreaux, Keith Cormier, Donnie Veazey, Jamie Comeaux, Gus Carmeron, grandson Michael Comeaux. Honorary Pallbearers are Hubert Robichaux, Wilbert Stelly, Horris Stelly, Mac Dore, Raymond Prejean and Michael Alleman. A rosary will be recited Thursday, Decmeber 22, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home. Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, Decmeber 23, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m..
